A Day in the Life of Comcast Area Vice President Aaron Walker

What do you want to be when you grow up? The question starts at an early age and slowly evolves over time into, What are you doing after high school? and What do you see yourself doing for a career? Young people are constantly asked where they see themselves headed. While the most amusing answers come from elementary school studentsresearch also shows that by the sixth-grade students are already determining their future.

In hopes to motivate youth in the community, the Modesto Chamber of Commerce created the Inspire Youth Inspire Dreams event. The event is an opportunity for local businesses to showcase a “day in the life” of their employee(s). Young people will learn about careers that might be available to them in the future.

Comcast was asked to participate in the event and showcased a day in the life of Area Vice President Aaron Walker. To conduct the interview, the awesome, 10year-old Ella Walker stepped to the plate to ask her dad what it’s like to be an Area Vice President at Comcast.

We look forward to the future Comcasters and bright minds that are sure to come from Modesto!
