Comcast & City of San Bruno Announce Agreement for Comcast to Acquire CityNet Services

Residents and Businesses of San Bruno Will Have Access to the Largest Converged Network in America, delivering Multi-Gig Symmetrical Speeds, Superior WiFi, and Unmatched Reliability and Security When Upgrades are Completed

Comcast Corporation and the City of San Bruno announced they have completed an agreement for Comcast to acquire  – a municipally-owned and operated broadband, video and voice network which currently serves over 5,400 residents and businesses in San Bruno, CA. The prospective acquisition of CityNet Services will greatly accelerate investment in, and improvements to, the City’s existing infrastructure, ultimately bringing symmetrical speeds, unrivaled reliability and security, and the latest products and services from Xfinity and Comcast Business to the community.
