Xfinity’s Run It Back Esports Tournament Returns for a Fourth Year

Xfinity’s popular Run It Back esports tournament is back for a fourth year in a row. In collaboration with more than 200 programs nationwide, Run It Back celebrates collegiate esports and digital opportunity. It’s a platform where players, fan, and aspiring broadcast professionals can connect and shape the future of gaming.

This year, Xfinity teamed up with eight schools to compete across three major games: League of Legends, Rocket League, and VALORANT. Two California schools, UC Berkeley and UC Davis, will go head-to-head with others in the West Division on November 8, 2025. Viewers can watch live on Twitch or experience the action in person at Stephen Lounge (UC Berkeley) or Cruess Hall Room 1002 (UC Davis).
