Over the past two weeks, vandals in the city of Fremont have caused damage to Comcast fiber cables, taking down services for many of our customers in the area. Unfortunately, today’s incident is now the third occurrence.
Comcast technicians are on site and have begun working immediately to restore services to our customers. Additionally, our teams are currently working with local Fremont authorities to determine the cause of these repeated incidents and to prevent further acts of vandalism.
Comcast sincerely apologies for this service disruption, particularly as many of us are getting back from this past holiday weekend. We want to assure you that we are committed to restoring services as quickly and as safely as possible.
