Comcast VP Shares Insights at The Registry’s Northern California Multifamily Housing Forum

During the Northern California Multifamily Housing Forum earlier this week, thought leaders, including Comcast California’s Regional Vice President of Engineering, Jeff Votaw, gathered to discuss the rapid changes the housing market has seen during the pandemic. The Registry, a source of real estate news for all of Northern California, hosted the virtual forum with over 200 attendees.

Other guests including, Heather Wallace, Managing Director Client Services at Bozzuto, Doug McDonald, President at Summerhill Apartment Communities, Laurence Morgan, Founder & CEO of Morgan Real Estate Advisors, Jordan Moss, Founder of Catalyst Housing, David Saxe, Managing Principal at Calvera Partners tackle several topics from people moving due to work-from-home changes, to the challenge of increasing rent and home prices for those living in the Bay Area right now.

“People have changed the way in which they are using their home services, they’ve become much more reliant on them for these types of [virtual] events, working remotely and with video being a part of the new norm. It’s changed the usage in our network, and we’ve done a nice job of staying ahead,” says Jeff Votaw. “Thankfully, we were in a very good position coming in. We’ve made some significant investments to continue to augment our capacity as the utilization continues to evolve.”
