As a longtime supporter of the gaming community, Xfinity is thrilled to support UC Berkeley and the University of New Mexico’s collegiate Esports teams through the Run it Back Esports Tournament. With Esports becoming a more prevalent and fast-growing industry, Xfinity is proud to continue supporting students in their endeavors to pursue their passions and level up their strategic and competitive skills.
This Friday, October 14th, each university campus will be hosting an in-person Pre-event Tailgate Experience to get students ramped up for game day. The kickoff will be from 4:00 – 6:00 PM PST, offering tailgating foods, door prizes & giveaways, and opportunities for casual gameplay. If you are a UC Berkeley or University of New Mexico student, be sure to stop by and join in on the fun!
Then, the games begin. The Run it Back Game Day event will be on Saturday, October 15th, from 2:30 – 7:00 PM PST. The event will feature two panels, The Rise of Scholastic Esports and Careers in Esports and Gaming, before leading into competitive Valorant and Rocket League matches.
