Be Prepared: Weather-Related Power Outages May Affect Your Xfinity or Comcast Business Services

California Governor Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency in several counties in Northern California due to a record-setting winter storm that prompted multiple power outages.

The counties included in the emergency order include: Alameda, Amador, Calaveras, El Dorado, Humboldt, Lake, Los Angeles, Marin, Monterey, Napa, Nevada, Orange, Placer, Sacramento, San Bernardino, San Luis Obispo, San Mateo, Santa Cruz, Sierra and Yuba.

Power outages may affect your Xfinity and Comcast Business services because Comcast’s network requires commercial power to operate.
