To help enable all of Comcast California’s customers to be well prepared during any period when severe weather, power shutoffs, fires, emergencies or other situations cause our services to be impacted, we are today launching a new “Be Prepared” resource center on our California Blog page.
The new site includes an abundance of helpful information, a new Network Impact Map and valuable resources for customers to gain information and take important steps in advance to be prepared should their Comcast services be interrupted. On the new Network Impact Map, you can see the areas where power outages may be impacting Comcast’s services. You can view the Network Impact Map here
We strongly encourage customers to download and sign into the Xfinity and Comcast Business apps, because Comcast uses those platforms to communicate key information directly to customers. It’s also important for customers to ensure that all the contact information associated with their accounts – particularly their mobile phone numbers – is up to date, because we also may send texts with important updates.
