The 85 Feet High Hot Air Balloon Debuted in California at the 49th Annual ClovisFest & Hot Air Balloon Fun Fly
Comcast is proud to announce its participation in the 49th Annual ClovisFest & Hot Air Balloon Fun Fly on September 28-29, 2024 in Clovis, California. Comcast brought its Xfinity Rewards branded hot air balloon to California for the first time at the iconic Central Valley event, offering attendees a unique and immersive experience.

Clovis resident and 2024 1st runner-up for Miss California, Chantéa McIntyre, flew in the balloon on Friday during the event’s media preview and described her experience as magical.
“Flying on a hot air balloon is the most incredible feeling. It feels like you are floating. I don’t know how else to describe it, said McIntyre, a special guest on the balloon. “I like that Comcast is leaving its imprint in the Central Valley. I don’t know any career you can pursue nowadays without the internet. As a content creator, I need a reliable internet source that I can depend on and always count on Xfinity.”
After the balloon showcase, festival-goers transitioned to Old Town Clovis, where over 300 vendor booths took over Pollasky Avenue. Among the vendors, there were homemade goods, crafts, entertainment for the kids, food, and drinks. Xfinity was present offering interactive experiences such as a photo booth, giveaways, and free tickets to the screening of the Universal movie Wild Robot, which premiered on September 27.

About the Xfinity Rewards Hot Air Balloon
The 85 feet tall Lindstrand Balloon was created in 2022 to promote Comcast’s Xfinity Rewards Program. It features eight three-dimensional 23 feet tall hearts. More than 1,234 pieces of material were used to create the hearts. It holds three passengers at a time – the pilot plus two riders. Lindstrand is a prominent balloon manufacturer in the United States.
