Keep Connected to Xfinity Voice and Email During PSPS Events

This evening 24 counties in California will be impacted by a PG&E Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS). These events occur when gusty winds and dry conditions are forecasted, and electricity providers pre-emptively turn off the power to protect the public from heightened fire risk. For more information about which counties will be effected please visit PG&E’s PSPS Event Page.

Comcast’s Internet, TV and landline telephone services for homes and businesses require commercial power to operate. During a PSPS event, these Comcast services may stop functioning within hours after the commercial power is shut off. Mobile phone service may also be affected by a PSPS event. You can find other helpful information regarding PSPS and Comcast services on our PSPS page.
