49ers and Comcast Announce Partnership Extension

The San Francisco 49ers and Comcast, a leader in global media and technology, announced a multi-year partnership extension. As an original founding partner of Levi’s® Stadium, Comcast is committed to helping the 49ers provide a world-class fan experience.

Xfinity has become the new presenting sponsor of Levi’s® Stadium Gate A and the corresponding fan plaza. Xfinity Gate A is the highest trafficked fan entrance on 49ers gamedays. Additionally, Levi’s® Stadium features in-stadium Wi-Fi presented by Xfinity, which offers free high speed internet in every location.

“Over the past 10 years, Comcast has played a major role in helping us make Levi’s® Stadium feel like home, which is why we couldn’t be more excited to solidify our partnership with them as a founding level partner,” said Kevin Hilton, Vice President of Corporate Partnerships for the 49ers. “Whether it’s fast and reliable stadium Wi-Fi or the Xfinity Gate A Plaza, fans will undoubtedly feel Comcast’s impact on the fan experience.”

“Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, Levi’s® Stadium has consistently featured unique and exciting breakthroughs that enhance the fan experience at live events,” said David Tashjian, Regional Senior Vice President, Comcast California. “Comcast could not be prouder that our technology is a centerpiece of those offerings – from ubiquitous ultra-fast Wi-Fi to innovative mobile applications and rich video content. This expanded partnership showcases Comcast’s reliable, high-capacity Internet connectivity for fans, media and stadium employees, all with an eye to enhancing Levi’s Stadium’s reputation as the area’s preferred, premier venue for live sporting and entertainment events.”

As part of the Comcast family, NBC Sports Bay Area remains committed to connecting 49ers fans with their team through comprehensive, season-long coverage across multiple platforms in multiple languages. On gamedays, “49ers Pregame Live” and “49ers Postgame Live” – hosted by Carlos Ramirez, Donte Whitner and Rod Brooks, with reports from Matt Maiocco, Jennifer Lee Chan and Laura Britt – deliver in-depth analysis and engaging discussions. Telemundo 48’s Carlos Yustis will also return as the team’s official Spanish analyst and color commentator, covering the team throughout the season.

“Our commitment to delivering comprehensive coverage of the San Francisco 49ers reflects our dedication to keeping the Faithful intimately connected to the team they love,” said Matt Murphy, President and General Manager of NBC Sports Bay Area. “As we continue our longstanding partnership with the 49ers, we are thrilled to ensure that every fan, whether watching from home or following on the go, has access to a wide array of exclusive content, including in-depth interviews, expert analysis, and authentic moments that capture the essence of the game, both on and off the field.”
