Last Sunday, women from across the country descended on Oakland for the WorldWideWomen Girl’s Festival. Currently in its second year, the festival’s mission is to connect girls to valuable programs and services that support and empower their lives. While Oakland is the first location to host the festival, the organizers, the WorldWideWomen Foundation, hope to expand this festival across the country and eventually the world. Our own Comcast Hometown Network production crew captured the excitement this past weekend and had the opportunity to interview a few of these young professionals in the making.
